Steve began his career in financial services in 1976 with John Hancock. In 1978, he co-founded Practice Planning Consultants – a financial advisory firm to medical and dental practices. He has worked extensively providing financial planning to professionals and closely-held businesses since that time.
In 1983, Steve merged his firm with Madison Financial Group (MFG), a large New Jersey financial planning firm, and joined their management team. In 1985, he became a partner. He opened Madison Financial Group of Clinton in 1986 where he became a senior partner and continued his management responsibilities, as well as advising a large personal clientele.
Steve obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification in 1987 and is a member of the Financial Planning Association on both the national and state levels. He maintains his certification by obtaining continuing education credits on an annual basis as well as participating in various professional seminars and workshops.
On January 1, 2003, Steve started the final stage of his career as President and co-founder of Newroads Financial Group. In 2004, after 30 years of working in the financial profession, and 20 of those years in management, Steve decided to step down from his position of President, to serve as Senior Advisor to the firm.
